David Gillespie, DDS
I enjoy being a dentist for many reasons but I think the one that sticks out the most is the ability to converse, connect and problem solve with many different people every single day. I have always loved puzzles and dentistry challenges me to solve a wide variety of problems with our patients.
My path to dentistry began here in Milford where I caddied for a dentist and he recommended I shadowed to see if I liked it. After a few years observing dentists in the area I was fortunate enough to shadow Doctors Reineck and Egbert while doing my undergrad education at the University of Cincinnati. After that I knew without a shadow of a doubt dentistry was my calling. With those shadowing experiences I was able to gain admission to The Ohio State University College of Dentistry where I graduated in 2017.
Post graduation I dove head on into various continuing education curriculums of which I still actively learn from. Staying on the cutting edge with evidence based comprehensive dentistry is a passion of mine.
Outside the office I enjoy spending time with my wonderful wife, our two children, and our dog. We play volleyball, love camping, and cheer (maybe too enthusiastically) for the Buckeyes and Bengals. On the occasion when I am not with them I can be found golfing, fishing or at a nascar race.
I am so thankful to have been given the opportunity to help a community I love and work with such an amazing team here at Milford Dental Excellence. I’m looking forward to meeting and developing relationships with all of our patients.
