Why Your Teeth Need Braces – Invisalign

Many people who wish to have straighter teeth have turned to Invisalign.

Invisalign utilizes clear aligners to move your teeth into the proper position. Although Invisalign is a popular alternative to traditional braces, why even bother having straighter teeth?

Besides improving the look of your smile, crooked or crowded teeth can cause issues that impact our oral health. Having properly aligned teeth help us to chew food, speak and hold the shape of our face and lips.

Invisalign braces are a great alternative to traditional braces for a couple of reasons. It is important to remember that complex issues may require traditional braces, but many people with crooked teeth can be treated with Invisalign braces. Invisalign uses clear trays that can be removed, which means dental hygiene is much easier compared to traditional braces. Invisalign braces are also popular because they are practically unnoticeable.

The length of treatment may differ from person to person, but you will visit the dentist about every six weeks to receive new aligners and make sure your treatment is on track.
